Richmond Cricket Club, Old Deer Park, was the location of the annual “Travel Industry Cricket Match” between White Hart Associates (WHA) and MacIntyre Hudson. Many of the great and the good of the industry were there, either to participate or just to take in the atmosphere. And whilst WHA won a closely contested game by just 4 runs, the real winners were, Just a Drop, the international water aid charity whose simple plan is to give all people, and especially children, access to clean water. A total of £2,400 was raised and a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon was had by all. No doubt, after two straight loses MacIntrye Hudson will be back again to try to take next year’s crown. This annual event in aid of Just a Drop will return next year. Therefore make sure you look out for the announcement date, it is an event not to be missed.
