Last chance to maximise reliefs and allowances
As the tax year draws to a close, the WHA Tax Team would like to take the opportunity to remind you of tax reliefs and allowances that you could possibly optimise before the deadline of 5 April 2023.
To help you decide what you can claim for in this tax year — and what to plan for in the forthcoming fiscal years — a financial planning document has been compiled. This comprehensive planner encompasses several types of potential tax savings across an expanse of circumstances, and therefore it is hoped everyone will find something of value within its pages.

Further to the recent WHA blog regarding National Insurance contributions and the necessity to check for any gaps, the Government has granted an extension to the original cut-off date of 5 April 2023 to the new deadline date of 31 July 2023. This extension was announced following public pressure on the Government to afford more time for those wishing to bring their contributions record up to date. Please make a diary note of the new deadline date of 31 July 2023, as WHA will not be sending out any further reminders on this issue. For further details and access to the appropriate Government links, please access the WHA article via this link: Check your National Insurance contributions record by 5 April 2023 | White Hart Associates
