When George Osborne addressed the nation from Westminster yesterday, he hailed his Big Budget as a “Sweetener” for Small Businesses. No, we are not referring to his surprise introduction of a new “Sugar Tax”, but to the fact that the Chancellor’s proposed plan is to tax big business and assist SME’s.
